UBERTI 1858 Remington New Army Target 18" Carbine Revolver 44 Cal
The Uberti 1858 black powder rifle in 44 caliber has an 18" hexagon blued barrel, with a beautiful dark walnut stock.
This Uberti 1858 New Army Target Carbine uses a steel blued frame, brass trigger guard & butt-plate with 6 rounds of revolving black powder.
The History:
The Remington Arms Company began production of 1858 New Army single-action revolvers, and 5 years later the revolver had gained a foothold.
In the years following the American Civil War, the black powder firearms maker started manufacturing a carbine version of the 1859 New Army.
Called the 1858 Target Carbine, these where only manufactured in smaller numbers.
