This Colt London Model 1851 Navy Revolver with serial number #28328 was manufactured in 1855 at Samuel Colt’s London factory.
This 1851 Navy revolver is 171 years old.
The revolver comes in the original English Mahogany Presentation Case with green Velvet lining.
Include in the Presentation Case is the James Dixon & Sons Powder Flask, Bullet Mould & Percussion Cap Tin.
Missing is the Nipple Wrench/Screwdriver & Cleaning Rod.
The "Directions for Loading Colt Pistols" paper label pasted to the inside the lid of the case is in reasonable good condition.
All serial numbers on the revolver appear correctly on the frame, barrel lug, cylinder, buttstrap, loading lever and trigger guard.
The British Proof Marks are stamped between the flutes (groves) of the cylinder and left side of the barrel lug.
The Mechanical Integrity of the revolver seems excellent, cylinder locks up tightly, the hammer holds at both half-cock and full-cock positions.

This application must be taken down or sent to your local Arms Office, the approval of the permit is undertaken by them and they will issue the Permit to Possess. Upon the receipt of the permit, all copies must be send to Gun Supplies or brought with you when picking up from us. We will except PDF copies (not photos) send to us by email only.
When Gun Supplies receives the Permit to Possess, we will ship your purchase via Dealer to Dealer.
